Tulsa, OK – The Tulsa City Council hears a proposal from one of its own dealing with changing the Tulsa City Charter. Councilor Roscoe Turner is proposing creating the position of City Manager to run the day-to-day operations of the city and to serve as the City's CEO.
Currently, Tulsa has a strong mayor/weak council form of government. Turners change would make the mayor a figure head while strengthening the role of the city council in hiring a manager.

Tulsa, OK – 3rd victim in shooting at Tulsa hotel dies
TULSA, Okla. (AP) A third victim of a Tulsa hotel shooting last week has died.
Police confirmed that 20-year-old Toni Ruff died at a Tulsa hospital over the weekend. He was shot last Thursday night at a Days Inn hotel in east-central Tulsa. The others fatally shot were 23-year-old Joey Deon Mike and 19-year-old Jermiko Thomas.
Tulsa, OK – Nearly $300,000 found for Okla. fairgoers
TULSA, Okla. (AP) Oklahoma State Treasurer Scott Meacham's office says cash and stock worth nearly $300,000 was found for 464 people attending the 2010 Tulsa State Fair.
Meacham's office announced Monday that employees dug up $298,304 for those who visited the treasurer's "Pot of Gold" booth in the Quik Trip Center. The largest single amount was more than $88,000 in stock for an Owasso woman.

Pryor, OK – Fertilizer production to resume at Okla. plant
PRYOR, Okla. (AP) An Oklahoma City company says production of anhydrous ammonia has resumed at a plant in Pryor that was damaged by fire in June.
LSB Industries Inc. said Monday that repairs had been completed at the Pryor Chemical Co., and production of the fertilizer is proceeding according to a restart plan. Pryor Chemical Co. is a subsidiary of LSB Industries.
