Tulsa, OK – Heavy rain fell on Tulsa on Thursday. The National Weather Service says the Tulsa Metro received three to four inches of rain. That prompted the NWS to issue a Flash Flood Warning for Tulsa and several of the adjacent counties.
The rain caused flooding at the usual locations, like this Bixby neighborhood, pictured here. While there were some blocked roads, no major problems were reported.

Oklahoma City, OK – OHP clears trooper's actions during arrest
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says there will be no disciplinary action against a trooper seen in a television news video punching a man in the back as the man lay face down while being arrested.
The incident came at the end of a chase in which Christopher Harrell was arrested. Troopers say Harrell had sped away from an attempted traffic stop before he turned around and went back in the direction of the troopers.
Oklahoma City, OK – Transportation director to discuss needs
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) Oklahoma Secretary of Transportation Gary Ridley plans to reveal the long-term needs of state roads and bridges.
Ridley is scheduled to address members of the Oklahoma ROADS Task Force Wednesday. The task force is comprised of lawmakers as well as city and county officials and other groups interested in transportation improvements.
