As this system approaches, thunderstorms will spread into the area on Monday ahead of a Pacific front with the threat for severe weather and heavy rainfall.</p><p>The severe threat will transition more towards a flooding threat into Tuesday as repeated rounds of heavy rain continue along the slow moving front.
